SARACENS TICKETS OUT NOW ON NEW TICKET SYSTEM

Bedford Blues are pleased to announce the launch of a new Print @ Home Ticketing System ahead of the new season with tickets for the pre-season matches against Saracens and Pontypridd available now.

The new partnership with Eclipse Ticketing will enable fans to purchase tickets online and print off at home before being scanned through the turnstiles at Goldington Road on match day.

The Club have further discounted online ticket sales with a huge £4.00 saving online over match day prices for the Saracens match and all Championship games this season.

INAUGURAL RUGBY CAMP ANNOUNCED

The Bedford Blues Community Rugby Department is excited to announce that the first of its rugby camps will be taking place in August.
 
The inaugural pre-season rugby camp will be open to players of all ages and abilities with boys and girls being welcomed to the sessions which take place over three days at Goldington Road.
 
Youngsters will be able to train as professional rugby players while also being put through their paces with a variety of drills including core skills, evasion tactics and fun-packed games all under the close tutelage of experienced players and coaches.

NEW KIT REVEALED

Bedford Blues are delighted to reveal their brand new home kit for the 2016/17 Greene King IPA Championship season.
 
The new strip has been on display at Bedford River Festival over the weekend with Blues players modelling the kit while fans have been able to pre-order their new jersey for the coming campaign.
 
Bedford Blues have worked closely with manufacturers Zoo Sports to design a kit that is both practical for the players and something that the fans will enjoy wearing.

BRITISH & IRISH CUP FIXTURES RELEASED

The British & Irish Cup fixtures have been announced today with Bedford Blues drawn in Pool 5 against fellow Championship sides Yorkshire Carnegie and Ealing Trailfinders as well as the Dragons Premiership Select side.

After reaching the quarter-finals of the cup competition last season, Mike Rayer’s men will be hoping to go even further this season, but know that they face a tough journey to get out of the Pool stages.

NEW KIT REVEALED AT RIVER FESTIVAL

Bedford Blues will be playing in a brand new kit for the 2016/17 Greene King IPA Championship season and you will be able to see it in its entirety at Bedford River Festival this weekend.

While the design of the new kit is being kept a closely guarded secret until Saturday, we can reveal a sneaky pic of part of the jersey and believe that fans will be more than happy with the new design.

Mike Rayer’s men will be in attendance at the River Festival this weekend and it is the perfect opportunity to pop along to the Sports Village to see the new kit and meet a number of new Blues signings as well as some familiar faces.

COACH TRAVEL TO BLUES FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON

The Bedford Rugby Followers' Association will be running a coach to the friendly match against Pontypridd on Saturday 13th August in Blues first match of the new season.

The coach will leave the Goldington Road gates at 8am en route to South Wales. The cost is £25 for Adults and £13 for Juniors, open to all supporters for return travel.

CHAMPIONSHIP FIXTURES ANNOUNCED

The long wait is finally over as the RFU Championship fixtures for the 2016/17 season have been announced with Bedford Blues opening their account with a home game against familiar foes the Cornish Pirates at Goldington Road on Saturday 3rd September.

The following weekend will see the Blues players, coaches and fans heading off for the always enjoyable trip to Jersey to face the Reds before Mike Rayer's men welcome last season's Premiership side London Irish to Goldington Road on Saturday 17th September.

FIRST PLAYER JOINS ACADEMY DEVELOPMENT SQUAD

Bedford Blues are delighted to announce that fly half Dan Lewis is the first player to join the Blues Academy Development Squad.
 
Lewis joins the Blues this summer from French club Oyonnax.  The 20 year old - an old boy of St. Joseph’s College, Ipswich - was a member of the Blues Academy in the 2013/14 season, when he played for the England Under 18 Clubs and Schools XV against Ireland and France.  He also played with Saracens Academy in the U18 Academy league.

FIRST PRE-SEASON BLOCK COMPLETE

Bedford Blues have completed their first block of pre-season training by being put through their paces at Fitness First in Aspects Leisure Park.
 
The squad headed to the state of the art gym last week and made full use of the facilities - as well as the car park!
 
Under the watchful eye of Strength and Conditioning Coach Andrew Petts, the players once again accustomed themselves with the dreaded Wattbike, as well as undertaking a series of workouts in the gym as well as shoving weights in the car park.

WASPS DUO HEAD BACK TO BEDFORD

Bedford Blues are thrilled to announce that Wasps duo Piers O'Conor and Alex Lundberg will both be available to the Goldington Road club for the 2016/17 Greene King IPA Championship season.

Following a hugely successful campaign, 21-year-old prop Lundberg and 20-year-old fullback O'Conor will be back with the Blues once more for the coming season.
