BIG MATCH BUILD UP AS BLUES HOST EALING THIS SATURDAY

Bedford return home this Saturday in need of your support to rediscover winnings ways in front of the old faithful at Goldington Road against a buoyant Ealing Trailfinders side (Kick Off 3pm).
The Blues arrive back at home following two losses against Jersey and Rotherham Titans, whilst the Vallis Way club travel to Bedford fresh from a comprehensive 55-15 victory over Moseley and looking to climb the table.
In the reverse fixture earlier in the season, Mike Rayer’s men only clinched the win thanks to a last minute Steffan Jones’ penalty setting up another critical crunch Championship tie.
As the season reaches the business end the Blues have lots to play for and urge all supporters from across the region to cheer the boys on and enjoy the on field action and match day experience.
Arrive early on Saturday to either enjoy Marquee Hospitality, with two tables remaining available from £25 per person – contact sophie@bedfordrugby.co.uk for more details, or pick up a programme and head to one of the bars. This week’s Guest Ale in the Eagle Bar is Wells’ Try Time, a firm Six Nations favourite.
Just before kick-off St Neots Under 9s will perform this weekend’s SSG Services Guard of Honour, let’s give them and the Bedford Bear a loud cheer as the teams run out on to the pitch.
After the final whistle head to the Blues Marquee for the Anglian Fasteners’ Man of the Match presentation, mix with players and enjoy live music from guest guitarist and singer Mat Roberts.
Gates open at 12 noon, arrive early to avoid the queues, tickets are available online with a £2.00 discount at www.theclubshop.co.uk/bedfordblues.
