BLUES LAUNCH ONE-OFF PINK LADIES DAY JERSEY

The Blues are delighted to unveil their Ladies Day jersey ahead of this Saturday’s match against Ospreys in the British & Irish Cup (KO 3pm).

Mike Rayer’s men will again run out in a limited edition pink shirt with stripes of green in support of Macmillan Cancer Support and Breast Cancer awareness.

The tenth year of Ladies Day and with a new charity partner, the club are hopeful of raising a significant sum for a very worthwhile cause.

There is only one way to get your hands on an official player jersey from Ladies Day through auction, you can make a silent bid for jerseys 1-15 by emailing your name, contact details, number of the jersey you would like to bid for and the amount to season@bedfordrugby.co.uk.

A firm favourite with the fans, Ladies Day has grown year on year and the club hope the town will come out to support another fantastic event in aid of Macmillan. Many supporters will know or have known someone who has been affected by cancer. One in three people in the UK will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime.

On average, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes and dealing with this diagnosis can be a confusing, lonely and frightening time not only for the person diagnosed, but for their partner, family and friends.
