LIVE MUSIC AND A PLAYERS CHRISTMAS FORUM AFTER THE MATCH IN THE BLUES MARQUEE

Stick around after the match on Saturday to join the Christmas celebrations as Bedford Blues host a variety of post-match entertainment in the Blues Marquee following the final whistle with live music and a Christmas Forum.
Musician Mark Calder will be getting the party started with his guitar and a few chosen tunes to keep everyone in the festive mood before we unleash forwards coach and part-time MC Martin Hynes on the crowd, you may even see a duet dependant on the mood.
Following the music, from 16:30, Hynes will host a Christmas Forum with Director of Rugby Mike Rayer and selected players, providing a Q&A and light-hearted entertainment for all to enjoy. This fantastic event gives Blues fans the perfect opportunity to pose their own questions to Mike and the boys as well as providing a mid-term review on the Blues’ season so far. Then it’s back to the music and we hope supporters will enjoy the night at Goldington Road on this our Christmas fixture.
Cornish Pirates fans are welcome also as we relight the friendly rivalry between the two clubs in this our first home encounter of the season with the West Country side. Remember kick-off is at the earlier time of 2pm on Saturday 13 December with gates opening at 12 noon so arrive in good time. ‘Happy Hours’ remains available only in the Eagle Bar from 12-1:30pm so there is more than one reason to arrive early.
Adding to the occasion the Junior Blues Under 7s and 8s will be forming a Guard of Honour ahead of the match as the lads run out, so give them and our mascot a loud cheer in support of the future of the Club.
