MAKE SURE YOU SUPPORT THE BLUES

Following the announcement from Bedford Blues Chairman, Geoff Irvine, that he will be standing down from his position at the end of the 2015/16 season, an outside group has been formed to examine the relationship between Bedford Blues and the local community.

Following the first phase of their work and a survey to gather the importance of rugby in Bedford, Geoff Irvine believes that the best way that the people of Bedford can show their support for the Club is to turn up on Saturday to cheer on Bedford Blues as they face Jersey in the Greene King IPA Championship (gates open at midday with kick off at 3pm).

The Blues Chairman said: “It has been demonstrated time and time again the importance of the 16th man and the need to make Goldington Road a fortress. We urge fans to show their support by coming along this Saturday and cheering the lads on against Jersey.”

With ‘Happy Hours’ before and after the game making many beers just £3 a pint there’s no excuse not to get yourself down on Saturday to encourage the Blues to achieve their second win of the season.

Match day tickets are just £18 on the gate or can be bought online at a discounted price. For further information on our home matches or to purchase tickets visit www.bedfordrugby.co.uk
