Bedford Blues are delighted to announce that the exciting opportunity to be part of the Club’s future by designing the new mascot is now open to supporters of all ages with a revised deadline of Friday 24th April.

The winning design will provide the basis for the mascot, which will be launched at the first home game of next season and will be present at all future games at Goldington Road as well as selected School Games Competitions.

The competition is simple – all you have to do is come up with an idea for what the new Blues mascot should be called and look like!

Although we want to leave as much of the designing process to you as possible, there are three points which you must consider when submitting your entry:

- The mascot will be given a name linked to Blue. For example: Blue ______ or _______ the Blue; therefore this must be taken into consideration when designing the mascot, a tenuous link will certainly be acceptable.

- Although not limited to these colours, the Bedford Blues team colours are light blue, navy, cerise and white.

- Please remember that the mascot will be given a Bedford Blues shirt to wear, so the torso of the mascot will mainly be covered.

- Designs around futuristic mascots, the history of the club or links to Bedford Town are encouraged.

The winning entry will be confirmed by the middle of May and the winner will be invited to attend the first home match of next season in VIP style with your family and friends to see the launch of the mascot.

Entries must be submitted by Friday 24th April via Kelly.rolfe@mybiddenham.com(link sends e-mail) or posted to Kelly Rolfe, Biddenham Upper School, Biddenham Turn, Bedford, MK40 4AZ and should include the name, address and occupation of each entrant.
