Bedford Blues will be hoping to bounce back immediately against Doncaster Knights in the Greene King IPA Championship this weekend having suffered an agonising one point defeat to the Cornish Pirates.

Looking ahead to the game, Blues Director of Rugby Mike Rayer said: “We know we have a huge challenge ahead as Doncaster are in a rich vein of form. They will bring a big physical threat up front and have some real X-factor in the back three.

“We took a knock last week, but we are back at Goldington Road and in front of our fans and we’ll be doing all we can to get back on the horse and put in a big performance.”

Bedford Blues make five changes to the team that travelled to Cornish Pirates last weekend with Steffan Jones, Ollie Dodge, Jake Sharp and Pete White starting in the backs while Harry Wells comes into the pack.
