MATCH PREVIEW V HARTPURY COLLEGE

Bedford Blues return to league action this weekend with their first trip to Hartpury in the Greene King IPA Championship.
Following on from a hard fought win over Ulster A in the quart-final of the British & Irish Cup, attention returns to the Championship as the Blues look to finish the season as strongly as possible.
While the Blues picked up a bonus point 33-7 win when the two teams met at Goldington Road back in November, they know that they can expect a bruising encounter against Hartpury on their home turf.
Looking ahead to the game, Blues Director of Rugby Mike Rayer said: "We went through a very attritional game last weekend and the lads had to put in a massive shift for us to progress. In fact our defensive efforts over the past few weeks have been incredibly impressive with over 450 tackles being made and I'm sure that there will be many more to come this weekend. Selection reflects that effort and the lads coming in this week are fresh and eager to keep our momentum going.”
Bedford make a handful of changes to the team that defeated Ulster A last weekend with Chris Czekaj, Elliot Clements-Hill and Harry Sheppard starting in the backs while Camilo Parilli-Ocampo, George Edgson, Alex Penny, Ed Taylor, Justin Blanchet and Josh Buggea all return to the pack while Ben Adams takes a place on the bench.
