Goldington Road is sure to be full of festive cheer as Bedford Blues prepare to welcome Jersey Reds on Boxing Day for a Greene IPA Championship clash.

The two sides met back in September with the Reds getting the win in a closely fought contest at St Peter but the Blues will be looking for a good response in the reversal as they hope to finish 2016 on a high.

After two British & Irish Cup games in as many weeks, the Blues make a host of changes to their starting line-up including seven changes from last weekend's encounter against Ealing Trailfinders. Returning to the backs are Matt Gallagher, George Perkins and Jordan Burns while Hayden Thompson-Stringer, Jacob Fields and Ben Cooper make up the front row and Justin Blanchet starts at blindside flanker.
