PRITCHARD LOOKING TO PLAY OWN GAME

Following defeat away to Rotherham Titans last Saturday, Bedford Blues will be looking to bounce straight back against third placed London Scottish when they come to Goldington Road on Saturday 31st January (Kick Off 3pm).

Looking ahead to the Exiles match, stand-in skipper James Pritchard is searching for further improvements and to replicate a performance similar to that in the second half of the teams’ last meeting at the Richmond Athletic Ground, when the Blues ran in three tries compared to just one from the home side.

Canadian international, Pritchard said: “London Scottish are going to be tough, especially if we let them play their game. What we’ve got to do is get them away from their game plan and start playing ours.

“We did that at the start of the season towards the end of the second half, but it was too late as they nearly had the game in the bag at half-time. But we gave them a fright, we took away their natural game and we started to play ours and it was a shock to their system so we’ve really got to do that from the get go up here next week”.
