RAY LAUGHTON OBITUARY

The Club was saddened to learn of the death of former committee member and Club stalwart, Ray Laughton, at the age of 93 years old. 

Ray regularly attended home games and could often be found pre-match enjoying himself in the Former Players' Bar at Goldington Road. 

Unfortunately, more recently, illness prevented his attendance at matches this season.

Ray's late wife Betty also helped prepare and serve the players' post-match meals for some years. Both were heavily involved in the running of the club throughout the very successful 1970s and 80s.

The funeral of Ray Laughton will take place at 12.15pm on Monday 26th February at Bedford Crematorium, Norse Road.
