LADIES DAY 2016 JUST A FEW DAYS AWAY
For the ninth season running the Blues will be turning pink for annual Ladies Day on Saturday 15 October against Newport Gwent Dragons to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK and specifically their breast cancer projects.
It’s less than a week away and the Club would like to encourage Bedford’s female fans through the turnstiles to help show their support at a buy one get one free special entry.
Gates open at midday with 2-for-1 entry for all ladies on the day as well as complimentary rosé wine on arrival to the marquee before the game kicks off at 3pm - while stocks last that is!
This year the Blues will also be back in pink on the pitch as the Bedford XV will be donning a one-off jersey to celebrate the day with all proceeds raised from the auction donated to the charity. To make a silent bid, simply email your name, contact details, number of the jersey you would like to bid for and the amount to season@bedfordrugby.co.uk.
Fire Safety Services are once again sponsoring the event which will see a host of other treats available in the marquee throughout the day including beauty treatments - courtesy of 5th Avenue Hair and Beauty Spa, live music, cakes from Crumbs, Blind Bear Wine Stall and much, much more.
There will also be many opportunities to get your hands on some exclusive prizes through the Blues auction and raffle with prizes from Baker Brothers Diamonds, Meatcure, The Embankment, BMW, The Swan Hotel, Charles Wells, 5th Avenue and more. On top of all that there will be a best-dressed competition following the match.
Just one hospitality table in the marquee remains, so to make your day that extra bit special simply email sophie@bedfordrugby.co.uk.
Bedford Blues Director of Rugby Mike Rayer said: "Ladies Day is always great fun and is something both the fans and players look for in the fixtures calendar each year, it's also a fantastic opportunity for us to have a bit of fun with our supporters in aid of a very worthwhile charity.
"So many of our fans will know or have known someone who has been affected by Cancer and it is important that we show our backing to the fantastic work that is carried out by these charities.
Tickets for the match are available to purchase online here or on the gate, but the 2-for-1 offer only applies to tickets bought on the day. Don’t miss out on a great event in aid of a very worthy charity and get yourself down to Goldington Road to cheer on the Blues and Pinks.
