The Blues Academy made a useful start to the new season with a pre-season training game against London Scottish.

With a host of new players on show the Blues went into an early lead with two penalties from fly half Dan Lewis.  Scottish narrowed the gap to 6pts – 3, with a penalty, before Bedford sealed the win with tries from centre George Elliott, converted by Lewis; centre Mike Philips, which he converted himself; and prop Will Dyer.
