Bedford Blues are delighted to announce that skipper Michael Le Bourgeois has been nominated for the Greene King IPA Championship Player of the Year Award.

The Greene King IPA Championship Player of the Year Award recognises the outstanding player from the Greene King IPA Championship during the 2017-18 season, as voted by the Championship club captains.

Speaking about his nomination, Le Bourgeois said: “It’s a huge honour and has definitely put a big smile on my face. To be nominated for this award definitely comes down to the terrific club environment at Bedford, and the exciting style of game we’ve played this season.

"A big thanks to all my teammates and coaches for the encouragement, and to the club captains for nominating me for this award."

The other nominees are Ian Madigan and Dan Thomas from Bristol Rugby.
