Bedford Blues are looking for a part-time Events Manager to cover Maternity Leave from December 2018 on a 12-month contract.

We are searching for an energetic and enthusiastic person to support the growth of Blues Events, working on weddings, parties, dinners and other functions across all on site venues, including the Marquee and New Lifesure Suite.

The candidate would ideally have previous experience in client relationship management, sales, event planning and delivery. We require an individual who has a strong work ethic and can do attitude.

Events management duties include; administration of enquiries, conversion to bookings, fulfillment of the events and supplier liaison.  All in a positive, responsive and professional manner. Excellent attention to detail, creative input, computer literacy and a self-start attitude is necessary.

The current position is based on 23 working hours per week with some weekend and unsociable hours as required by event bookings.
