Bedford currently sit in fourth place in the table just three points ahead of this weekend’s visitors, but will be looking to extend that lead and reel in third placed Jersey Reds.

Blues’ haven’t had any problems scoring tries of late, crossing the whitewash 15 times and scoring 120 points in their last three home run outs.  The Blues faithful will be hoping for plenty more excitement this time out, this particular fixture usually creates fireworks with lots of tries, in 2016 we were treated to a real classic at Goldington Road, as the home side ran out 54-46 victors.

The Cornishmen will be aiming to turn the tide as they come into this hotly anticipated fixture with four defeats on the bounce. They have suffered agonising, narrow defeats at Jersey and Nottingham in their last two outings, and Mike Rayer is only too aware of the quality the Pirates possess. As always, a strong 16th man will be needed behind the Blues charge!
