Bedford Blues will be looking to end 2017 on a high when they welcome Ealing Trailfinders to Goldington Road on Saturday afternoon.

With the year coming to an end, the Blues are hoping that a bumper crowd will be on hand to help them take on high-flying Ealing in this second versus third clash.

When the two teams met in West London earlier in the season, the game started in sparkling fashion but Bedford's discipline let them down in the second half with the hosts running away with things to win 45-25.

While there will be plenty of attacking plaudits, the Blues were left bitterly disappointed with their defensive display which shipped seven tries over the course of the afternoon.

Doors to the Scrum Hall are open at 7pm with the quiz starting at 7:30pm, so be there early to secure your table and get the drinks in before the eggheads get to work.

A week after the Blues had defeated the Irish outfit in Cork, the men in red put in a solid defensive display and finished their chances to keep the Pool wide open with two games left to play.
