Bedford Blues have been rocked by the news that flanker Darren Fox could miss up to three months of the season after breaking his arm during the British & Irish Cup against Llanelli on Saturday afternoon.
Despite the injury, Fox continued playing before having to leave the field with eight minutes remaining on the clock in the Blues first win of the season.
After attending hospital an x-ray revealed a clean break to Fox’s left arm and he underwent surgery earlier this week.
