After last weekend’s victorious outing away at Plymouth, Bedford Blues Forwards Coach Martin Hynes is confident back on home turf this Saturday and is looking forward to another tight encounter against Jersey at Goldington Road (Kick Off 3pm).

The Blues won their first game of the season last Saturday, scoring four tries to secure an elusive try bonus point to elevate them up the and Championship table. Ahead of this weekend’s clash with the Islanders, the former Northampton Saints front rower maintains that improvement is the key objective and that he is confident the boys are heading in the right direction.

MAKE SURE YOU SUPPORT THE BLUES

Following the announcement from Bedford Blues Chairman, Geoff Irvine, that he will be standing down from his position at the end of the 2015/16 season, an outside group has been formed to examine the relationship between Bedford Blues and the local community.

Following the first phase of their work and a survey to gather the importance of rugby in Bedford, Geoff Irvine believes that the best way that the people of Bedford can show their support for the Club is to turn up on Saturday to cheer on Bedford Blues as they face Jersey in the Greene King IPA Championship (gates open at midday with kick off at 3pm).
